Samsung P530

The Samsung P530 replaces the P510 as Samsung's budget business notebook. Traditionally Samsung's P series uses a similar chassis to their R series (consumer) counterparts. The P530 does not deviate from that trend, it's dimensions and weight are identical to the R530, instead of the silver plastic body, the P530 boast a more durable casing with an understated matte black look.

The P530 is upgraded with Intel's Core i3 processor from the Core 2 Duo processors that the P510 and R530 used. With it's 6 cell battery the P530 can achieve 4.6hrs of battery life which is on the low end of the scale considering it's use of efficient Core i3 processors and integrated graphics, other similar notebooks notches around 5hrs of battery life, though the exact capacity of the 6 cell battery used is unknown. At 5.5lbs the P530 is one of the lighter 15.6'' notebooks on the market today. With only a 0.3 Mega Pixel webcam, up to 250GB hard drive, and 3 USB ports, the price tag of the P530 seems much higher than it's competitions.
