There’s also a Blu-ray player that’s 3D compatible, meaning it can be used to enjoy 3D movies, though a pair of separately purchased 3D glasses are required. And likes it peer, it features a bevy of audio technologies (Dolby Digital, DTS) that work together to ensure audio from movies and music in general is reproduced crisply and without unwanted distortion or loss of quality. More importantly, the HT-D5500 features Samsung Smart TV technology, which allows users with an at-home network to connect their TV to it, and subsequently use it (the TV) to access the Internet as if it’s a computer.
