Product Shot 1 The Pros:Picture quality with HD setting looks great on large-screen TV. Touch screen is responsive and easy to use. Compact size easy to carry around, comfortable to hold in your hand.

The Samsung HMX-H203 is a High Definition camcorder in Samsung's H-Series, a line of camcorders that use Solid State Drives for data storage instead of traditional ones. SSD requires no moving parts in order to operating, translating into less energy consumption, less noise and heat while in-use, and higher resistance to impacts due to no moving parts being present to damage.

Additionally, SSD means faster data speeds and start-up time because there is no standard drive required to move in order to operate. The HMX-H203 includes 8GB of SSD storage. The camcorder's video capture functionality includes a 37mm wide-angle lens, a 20x optical zoom, and a LCD touchscreen user interface with an emphasis on user-friendliness to control it all. Samsung also included a feature introduced with the H-Series: a BSI CMOS imaging sensor, which allows for better light detection for video recording in low-light environments.
