Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a tablet from Samsung with an 8.9 inch WXVGA 1280×800 touchscreen display and Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS, along with TouchWiz user interface that lets you drag and drop icons, widgets and Live Panels with one finger.

Powered by a NVIDIA Dual Core 1GHz processor with 1GB of RAM and running Adobe Flash Player, you can surf the net and access most sites just like on a PC. This model has a shorter and slimmer build than previous versions seeing a 1.2 inch decrease in thickness, making it the slimmest and lightest on the market, and, the slate gray finish and enhanced build have further improved the line. Built-in Wi-Fi, USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 3.0 support have also been included and you can choose between a 16GB and 32GB version(no SD card support). Apps may be bought at the Samsung Apps store but many come with the phone, as outlined below. The 3.1 Honeycomb OS now lets you move apps and widgets between any of the five home screens very simply, and a range of compatible audio and video formats supported are listed below as well. Rounding out the features are two cameras, one 2MP in the front for stills and video chatting and one 3MP in the back with autofocus and flash for higher quality pictures and video.
