The Cons:No camera flash so taking photos will be challenging in darker rooms and at night. Lower resolution- only 240 x 320 pixels (lower than other galaxy phones). Lacks HD video recording- although content transfer is pretty fast.

The Galaxy Fit is a touchscreen smart phone from Samsung that offers an alternative to the other models in the company's Galaxy product line. Featuring a 3.3-inch TFT LCD touchscreen, this model runs Google's Android 2.2 "FroYo" operating system.

Users can browse and download applications through the Android Marketplace and Samsung Apps online stores, with the fully-customizable TouchWiz user interface offering integrated calendar and contact services for synchronized networking. A 5-megapixel digital camera is included with a variety of features that include "Panorama Shot" for 360-degree image capture and "Smile Shot" for automated picture taking based on facial recognition. Native Google Maps support enables on-the-go locational information with geo-tagging and points of interest, with public transit and turn-by-turn driving instructions also available. 160 megabytes of stock internal memory are available with expandability up to 32 gigabytes available via MicroSD support, enabling a wide range of media storage on the Fit at any given time.

ScottP: #samsung_galaxy_fit This phone really looks like the #rim_blackberry_torch_9800 minus the QWERTY keyboard. Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing. Jun 8, 11
