This model has a mixture of features found in the more basic PL120 and the top of the line ST700, with HDMI output for viewing images and video on a TV and an image resolution of 16.1 megapixels. It has a 1.5" front LCD compared to the ST700's 1.8" screen and the rear LCD is not touch sensitive, although it includes all of the internal software features save for the children's image animation mode. Pictures can be rendered with Smart 2.0 filters using effects like sketch, miniature, fish-eye, soft focus, cinema and others, and preloaded picture frames can be added as well. All three are capable of 720p HD video recording and use Smart Auto focusing which detects and adjusts brightness, color and motion automatically, with the ability to choose from 16 templates for stills and 4 for video. These are also quite compact, measuring only 2cm from front to back.
