The Salomon Kaid is a boot designed for youth and intended for general freestyle skiing. This is similar to the Salomon Keira, but uses a more general design on the outer shell. The cuff design is specifically shaped for junior calves and ankles to offer proper support and a comfortable fit.

It uses a Thermicfit lining is made of anatomical foam, which ensures a comfortable ride that cushions blows and keeps the feet warm. A heel cushioning system absorbs impacts and helps to prevent sore feet from longer riding. The upper cuff and lower shell are each made of single pieces of Polypropilene, which is softer and lighter than PU and offers UVA protection.
