Product Shot 1 The Pros:Well constructed, everything feels solid and secure. Buckles snap shut easily, don't have to take off your gloves. Liner molds to the shape of the foot, feels comfortable throughout.

The Cons:Tongue is very rigid, may cause the back of the boot to dig in, can't adjust for this. Hard to put on and take off, have to really push.

The Salomon Idol 8 CS is an all-mountain women's ski boot that comes equipped with a variety of features, including advanced shell technology, single canting adjustment, and a 'My Custom Fit Sport' liner.

The Idol 8 CS comes with advanced shell technology, which is a low-profile ski boot that offers up a custom fit and performance. This boot also comes with single canting adjustment, which has a canting that enables cuff alignment to the skiers lower leg shape. The sinlge canting allows the cuff to be moved toward the interior. The Idol 8 CS also comes with the My Custom Fit Sport liner, which is a thermoformable foam on the ankles and tongue that gives a more comfortable feel.
This model is related to the Salomon Idol 9 CS, which has a lot of the same features, but differs in that it features the My Custom Fit Performance liner, and offers up a double canting.
