The Roku HD is one of three wireless, high-definition media streamers (HD, XD, XDS) released in Fall 2010. In particular, the compact and lightweight Roku HD builds from its original HD counterpart (2002) by offering 720p high-definition video streaming, an HDMI output for transmitting to an HDTV, and an integrated Wireless N module for high-speed wireless streaming from one of 75 sources offered by Roku, including Netflix and Amazon Video on Demand.
