The Pros:BlackBerry Protect is preloaded- Personal data is backed up and secured in the cloud. Smaller version of the 9900 that's more pocket friendly. Touchscreen is very responsive when swiping and scrolling.
The Cons:Slower 1GHz processor when compared to the competition. Keypad isn't as forgiving as the larger version on the previous generation bold's. Slow graphics rendering while surfing the internet.
The RIM BlackBerry Bold 9790 smartphone by Research in Motion is the newest incarnation of their Bold series. Like the Bold 9780, this phone's predecessor, the Bold 9790 comes equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard with "fret style" angled keys, a precise optical trackpad, 5 megapixel camera, and a high-resolution touchscreen display.

It also comes with the 3G connectivity and Wi-Fi support of the 9780 model, and in a similarly small 2.44 inch size. However, the 9790 has a number of differences, including a 360x480p resolution screen compared with the 480x360p resolution of the 9780. Additionally, the 9790 comes with a 1 GHz processor and 8 GB of onboard memory with an expandable memory card slot for up to 32 GB of additional storage. It comes equipped with Blackberry 7 as the operating system, which provides voice-activated searches and support for Augmented Reality and Near Field Communications. Also, this operating system introduces an enhanced browser with a new Just In Time JavaScript compiler to improve web page load times.
