Razer BlackWidow Ultimate
$130.00
Released September, 2010
The Pros:Individual key backlighting with brightness control. Mechanical key caps - higher quality (longer life) and better tactile feedback than those with plastic dome caps. Gaming mode - disables the Windows key so gaming is not interrupted with an accidental keypress.
The Cons:Windows only. Keys sometimes get stuck. Late to the party with many other gaming mechanical keyboards already on the market.

Got the smallest amount of liquid on the keyboard as possible. Completely broken now. Crazy how a gaming keyboard, where people will obviously have food (drinks) isn't water proof.

this is NOT WATERPROOF at all! Such a high level keyboard just wasted by a little water!

not worth it over the cheaper non-ultimate version if you know where your keys should be (do not need backlighting) and have no need for the USB pass-through / audio jacks
