Razer Anansi
$100.00
Released December, 2010
The Pros:Customizable LED backlighting. Robust software allows for complete customization. 5 left-aligned and 7 thumb-based programmable keys.
The Cons:Can't use the function key in macros / modifiers. Standard membrane keys - nothing special next to mechanical or even scissor switches, somewhat crappy for the high price of the keyboard. Doesn't stand out aesthetically.
The Razer Anansi is a mid-range to high-end keyboard aimed specifically at the MMORPG market. It features seven modifier thumb keys for expanding macro functionality, five macro keys and the ability to quickly and easily program any key to perform a macro.

Additionally, the Anansi sports a 'gaming mode' which ensures uninterrupted play.
The Anansi's seven modifier thumb keys work with the standard ±12 ability keys, acting as added 'shift' keys and expanding the ability keys' functionality to seven times their current use. Its five dedicated macro keys and macro programmability make the Anansi ideal for MMORPG use as pretty much every key on the board can be set to perform a different macro. Meanwhile, the Anansi's gaming mode turns off game-interrupting keyboard shortcuts (most notably the Win key), ensuring fewer gaming interruptions.
