Pyle PLDN73I
$442.99
Released January, 2011
The Pros:Picture quality is excellent for the screen type/price point - colours are clear and defined with minimal blurring and pixelation issues. Sound quality is remarkable - processes audio without unwanted coloration, preserving frequency balance with considerable volume handling. External device connectivity is a major selling point - very easy to attach backup/parking cameras, subwoofers and other speakers.
The Cons:Doesn't include a dedicated installation manual - sure to cause excessive confusion amongst inexperienced users and require professional assistance. Some users report background/white noise issues when connecting auxiliary input devices - may inhibit quality of iPod/other MP3 player material.
The Pyle PLDN73I is a premium in-dash multimedia player designed for listening to music, watching videos, and playing video games while in an automobile. Featured is a motorized, slide-down front face with a 7” (1440x234) touchscreen display, a CD/DVD player, an AM/FM tuner, and USB & SD expansion ports that support MP3 audio and MPEG4 video content.

The PLDN73I also supports additional devices, such as rear/parking video cameras, iPods/iPhones, and subwoofer/amplifier units. Note that technically, a user doesn’t even need an external amp, as the device already offers up to 320 watts of power across four channels. Attaching a subwoofer to the PLDN73I would however definitely require a amp.
