PowerGenix's NiZn rechargeable batteries are nickel-zinc AA batteries, rechargeable using a PowerGenix or other nickel-zinc charger. Compared to NiCD and NiMH batteries, they offer higher voltage (1.6v) and superior peak-demand power delivery, as well as reductions in space and cost.

Intended for digital cameras and other high-drain uses, they reduce battery consumption and waste, providing an environment-friendly and economical alternative to regular alkaline batteries. A pack of four is available for under $15.
