Polaris 800 Pro-RMK 163 (2011)

The 800 Pro-RMK 163 is an upcoming mountain-terrain snowmobile from Polaris that offers a step-up from the company's 800 Pro-RMK 155 model. Slated for a January 2011 release, this model is intended to function as a durable yet lightweight upgrade from the 2010 version of the same name.

Featuring a punched snow-flap with hand-access for on-the-fly adjustment, this model includes a carbon-fiber bumper with extruded billet mounts for a sleek, streamlined aesthetic. PROTAPER handlebars offer an adjustable bar clamp for customized steering height, with coil-over shocks and suspension providing optimal flotation in deep snow conditions. The Pro-RMK 163 also incorporates Polaris' PRO-RIDE chassis with "Rider Active Control" for increases sensitivity and weight transfer, while the 800-series CLEANFIRE engine utilizes injection-style operation compensate for any major fluctuations in temperature or altitude. Further contributing to the lightweight nature of the snowmobile, this model features a 7-pound drop in silencer weight and an additional 2.5-pound reduction in the rotor and jackshaft section.
