Traditional "sterling silver" is forged with copper and plated with nickel. The PR 925 alloy is 92.5% sterling silver, forged with palladium and plated with rhodium.

Nickel is actually a poison. It causes so-called jewelry allergies. The palladium-rhodium platinum has more heft and shine than sterling silver, and no nickel.

The Kara Pendant Necklace is named after the Kara sea. Since it's in the arctic the sea is ice-bound much of the year. The diamonds represent the ice, the pendant is the water.

The Kara is part of the Liquid Line, which attempts to represent exotic islands and the water that surrounds them.
