$89.00
Released December, 2009
The Pros:Simple minimalist design is striking and looks distinct. White LCD display is very clear in all lighting conditions. Mp3 playback is high quality, sound is well rendered and on par with CD playback.
The Cons:Buttons are smaller than usual, something to get used to. Some functions are confusing at first, need to read the manual.

Its 50W MOSFET amplification circuit is smaller and more efficient than typical power supplies, reducing distortion and eliminating any on/off switching noise. A built-in AUX port placed right on the front panel allows the DEH-12E to interface with any MP3 or iPod device. Of course, the DEH-12E also plays CD as well as CD-Rs and RWs.
The DEH-12E's Supertuner IIID technology combines digital and analog tuner technologies boost performance and signal strength, even in areas with poor reception; Supertuner IIID also reduces the multi-path noise effect that can occur around tall buildings, which occurs when signals bounce off of nearby buildings. The DEH-12E's MOSFET amplification circuit is not only more efficient, providing a cleaner audio signal, its higher power intake can handle higher volumes while still sounding clean. The DEH-12E's built-in AUX port supports iPods and mp3 players in addition to its traditional CD and CD-R and RW support for an expanded and more convenient listening experience.
