The Pioneer AVH-P2300DVD is an in-dash DVD receiver for 2-DIN console ports. It features a 5.8 inch widescreen display, and is controlled through tactile buttons along the side as well as a touchscreen interface.

The unit can play back DVD video and a number of digital formats on burned media such as DivX and MP3. When connected through the front USB port to an iPod or iPhone, the user gains direct control over the portable media player and full access to the contents for playback. Compressed audio is expanded and enriched with an Advanced Sound Retriever, which brings the audio quality closer to the original. Users can connect other portable devices through the 3.5mm AUX input, and a Composite input is available for optional rear-view camera connections.
