Philips Sonicare HealthyWhite (HX6710)
Released August, 2010
The Pros:Rechargeable battery upgrade over previous models reduces weight and increases battery life. Does a better job of reaching into crevices and gumlines than standard rotating electric toothbrushes. Heads are much simpler to replace than older Philips rotating brushes, and competitors' brushes.
The Cons:"Healthywhite" whitening mode is not much different from standard mode, just extends time. Toothbrush does not click into the charger when charging, can be knocked off easily.

Philips recommends using two minutes of Clean mode and thirty seconds of White mode every day. The HealthyWhite (HX6710) has Sonic technology, which gives direct and broad contact with each tooth. The ProResults brush head of this toothbrush has a wide bristle range and angled neck, which helps to remove plaque while retaining a comfortable brush. With each charge, the HealthyWhite (HX6710) will give twenty two minute brushings. The HealthyWhite (HX6710) lacks the third mode (Sensitive mode, for cleaning sensitive gums and teeth) of the higher cost HealthyWhite (HX6730). The HealthyWhite (HX6730) also has two hygenic travel caps instead of just one, and an extra brush head. The Philips HealthyWhite (HX6710) comes with a two year limited warranty.
