Philips Sonicare HealthyWhite (HX6710)

$90.00 Released August, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Rechargeable battery upgrade over previous models reduces weight and increases battery life. Does a better job of reaching into crevices and gumlines than standard rotating electric toothbrushes. Heads are much simpler to replace than older Philips rotating brushes, and competitors' brushes.

The Cons:"Healthywhite" whitening mode is not much different from standard mode, just extends time. Toothbrush does not click into the charger when charging, can be knocked off easily.

The Philips HealthyWhite (HX6710) is a low mid-cost rechargeable electric toothbrush. Philips promotes this toothbrush as being able to remove regular stains (such as coffee, tea, tobacco and wine) in two weeks, if you use the Clean and White modes regularly.

Philips recommends using two minutes of Clean mode and thirty seconds of White mode every day. The HealthyWhite (HX6710) has Sonic technology, which gives direct and broad contact with each tooth. The ProResults brush head of this toothbrush has a wide bristle range and angled neck, which helps to remove plaque while retaining a comfortable brush. With each charge, the HealthyWhite (HX6710) will give twenty two minute brushings. The HealthyWhite (HX6710) lacks the third mode (Sensitive mode, for cleaning sensitive gums and teeth) of the higher cost HealthyWhite (HX6730). The HealthyWhite (HX6730) also has two hygenic travel caps instead of just one, and an extra brush head. The Philips HealthyWhite (HX6710) comes with a two year limited warranty.

Anonymous: #philips_sonicare_healthywhite_hx6710 I recently bought a new Sonicare Pro Results HX6710. I have misplaced the care information. Does this require some type of weekly or other cleaning as my old Sonicare did (for the old brush, I unscrewed the brush head and cleaned the the interior of the brush body etc)? I checked your website but did not find any care information on the HX6710 model. Jun 20, 13
