The Pros:SD content is upscaled well, looks crisp and clear. Able to adjust sound with many ways to fine tune. Sound output is clear, can hear everything being said at low volume.
The Cons:Getting the colors right requires going into the service menu, difficult to navigate or tell what you're doing. Factory settings are off, need to extensively work through the settings to get a good looking picture.
The Panasonic VIERA TC-50PX24 is a 50” plasma television that uses 600Hz Sub-field Drive technology to enhance the picture display, allowing it to produce a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio. Unfortunately, the unit is limited to a 1024x768 resolution.

On the bight side, however, the VIERA TC-50PX24 is outfitted with an abundance of connectivity options, including an HDMI input for receiving high-definition television or disc content; an SD card slot for viewing images; a PC input for accessing Internet film footage, and component/composite. Also featured is VIERA LINK functionality, which allows a user to control all his/her A/V components via a single remote; integrated 20W speakers; and an optional wall-mount kit (TY-WK3L2RW).
