The Panasonic RR-US571 is a handheld voice recorder with a number of advanced functions for filtering out background noise and reviewing recorded sound. This is similar in design and function to the Panasonic RR-US551, but has twice the recording capacity.

Users can select how much sound outside of the range of human speech will be recorded, and general noise reduction functions also work to remove background sounds. Using the included stand the microphone can be aimed properly without accidental sounds from your hand.

Sound is recorded into MP3 format onto 2GB of internal memory. You can connect it to your computer to copy the files with an included USB cable, or review the files using the built-in speaker. 21-step playback speed control is used if you want to skip through portions of the recording.
