The Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS3 is a rugged, outdoor point and shoot digital camera that is waterproof, shockproof, freezeproof, and dustproof. As an upgrade from the DMC-TS1 (2009), the Lumix DMC-TS3 adds the Panasonic 3D Photo mode, in which a 3D photo can be produced by taking 20 consecutive shots (auto) and then overlaying the best two.

Another improvement involves video capture, which goes from 720p to full 1080p HD. Also added is an altimeter, barometer, compass, and GPS function, the latter of which can tag a picture based on a database featuring over 1,000,000 points of interest (POI).
