The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH5 is a compact digital camera designed to be as small as possible while still being large enough to handle easily. This is similar to the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH2, but has a 16.1 megapixel CCD sensor for more detailed image capture and a 9x Extra Optical Zoom mode for enhanced digital zooming.

They are otherwise the same, with a slim compact body design, 4x optical zoom lens, and the ability to capture the equivalent of 28mm wide-angle images. There is also the built-in capability to record video in full 720p resolution, with 1280x720 video being recorded in Motion JPEG format.
