Still images can be captured in 16 megapixel detail, and video can be recorded in full 1080p high definition. The camera is held in a natural feeling pistol-style grip, and uses a flip-out 3 inch touchscreen for quick menu navigation. Files are saved in MP4 format, and can be uploaded through the included HD Writer utility. Additional photo shooting modes include high-speed consecutive shooting to ensure that the moment is captured, and macro shooting for close-up photography of smaller subjects.
