The Cons:Recessed lens cover can easily become jammed. Cheap plastic housing - not suitable for young children. Battery must be charged inside camera - virtually limited to one battery.
The Olympus T-100 is a 12 megapixel point-and-shoot camera, released in 2010. This 3x zoom camera is designed for beginners, especially teens and pre-teens. This camera is similar to the Olympus X560 WP, a basic waterproof camera with a lower 10 megapixel sensor and 3 fewer shooting modes.

The T100 can automatically adjust image settings for a wide range of scenes, including portrait, landscape, night, macro or sports. A total of 21 shooting modes are included. A high sensitivity mode is also available for fast-moving action shots. Up to 12 faces can be tracked, allowing for the camera the automatically focus on a large group of subjects. Photos can be reviewed on the 2.4” LCD display, which includes access to a Creative Art Filters mode for on-camera post processing. The Olympus T100 saves photos to the xD Picture Card format.
