The OCZ Vertex 2 is a solid state hard drive aimed at hardcore gamers and multimedia professionals. It reads at high speeds of up to 285MB/s, and writes at up to 275MB/s. It supports TRIM natively and has RAID support.

This supports a seek time of 0.1ms. The drive fits in a standard 2.5in bay and weighs 77g, but comes with a 3.5in adapter bracket for desktop computers. It's light on power usage, taking just 2W in operation and 0.5W in standby. This drive is shock resistant to forces of up to 1500G.
