Main features include a lightweight M6 aluminum triple-butted frame with a carbon rearstay link and a complete Shimano XTR hub, hydraulic brake and drivetrain group.

Fox suspensions are at both ends of this model, and WTB Silverado team saddle. It also has a lightweight Ritchey stem and handlebars. The head angle is 69 degrees, not quite as steep as a Freeride bike but ideal for trail, cross-country and single track. The models below this the Faze 1, 2, and 3 feature similar geometry and have similar intended purposes with downgraded components. This is the lightest Faze model.
