Norco Faze 3 (2011)

$1,350.00 Released January, 2011

Product Shot 1 Norco's Faze 3 is the most basic of the Marathon class of XC, trail and single track mountain bikes. It has a substantially lower price point than the other models, though its components reflect this.

Nonetheless, it uses the same M6 triple-butted aluminum frame as the other Faze models and its intended purpose is the same. This is the only Marathon model that uses RockShox instead of Fox suspensions (front and rear). The drivetrain is based mainly on Shimano Alivio components, and the brakes are also Shimano discs and levers. Alex rims couple with Norco and Shimano hubs, plus Kenda tires to form the wheels. This bike weighs 33 lbs and is noticeably heavier than the Faze 2 above it (and the others), so it is not as well suited for XC racing.
