Nikon Coolpix S9100

$349.99 Released February, 2011

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Light and compact - easy to carry around, impressively pocketable for a 18x zoom camera. Lots of optical zoom at 18x - great for getting in close to the action. High resolution 3" LCD display (921k dot).

The Cons:Buttons aren't intuitively placed - feels slightly awkward. Only supports up to 800 ISO in auto mode. Long 18x lens limits aperture to F/3.5 at its widest - poor for low light shooting, makes it hard if not impossible to isolate a subject with depth of field.

The Nikon Coolpix S9100 is a mid-cost digital camera. The most unique feature of this camera is its 18x optical zoom, a feature usually found on cameras much larger than this portable model. This powerful zoom magnifies distant subjects.

To go with the HD video, sound is recorded in stereo. You can set up or view images and video on this camera's three inch 921k Clear Color display.
