This is one of the features that sets this model apart from the lower cost S4100, which has a respectable fourteen megapixel sensor. Another feature that puts the S6100 above the S4100 is its 7x optical zoom, which will capture more subject detail from further away than the S4100's 5x optical zoom. Thanks to vibration reduction, a feature shared by both models, you will not have images blurred by camera shake. Another feature shared between the S6100 and S4100 is the ability to shoot 720p HD video with stereo sound.
