NHL 2K11

$45.00 Released September, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Can play the winter classic game. Captures the atmosphere of an NHL game very well. Play-by-play announcer sound authentic.

The Cons:Inferior gameplay when you compare it to EA. Same old cheap way to score goals- one timers and wrap arounds. Online infrastructure does not perform very well.

Featuring Vancouver Canuck player Ryan Kesler on the cover, 2K11 will include a never-before-seen "Road to the Cup" one-player mode with mini-games, trivia questions and various skill competitions to improve gameplay. Compatible with the Wii MotionPlus controller, the game will minimize latency issues while making use of the accelerometer for improved turning and shooting emulation. Claiming that this will be the most realistic hockey video game to date, 2K Sports has added the possibility of broken sticks to 2K11 in addition to a revamped artificial intelligence engine. The skating design has also been revisited, and is influenced by research done on real NHL athletes. While maintaining the ability for players to create and customize their own teams and players, NHL 2K11 also features up-to-date teams, athlete rosters, uniforms and rinks.
