NBA Jam is an arcade style basket ball game. Retaining the same name, this is the latest installment to the NBA Jam video game franchise designed for the Nintendo Wii console. It retains several popular elements from the original NBA Jam such as outrageous slam dunks, the ball catching on fire, and all audio lines from previous NBA Jam games.

In addition to the traditional NAB Jam game mode, Remix Tour have been added featuring power ups and boss battles. All Wii controllers will be compatible with NBA Jam with the exception of the Gamecube controller. According to EA Sports, NBA Jam is a game aimed at all types of audience not just basketball enthusiasts. It received multiple Best Sports game awards at the Electronics Entertainment Expo 2010.
