Musical Solo Table

This coffee table has 2 fundamental purposes. The first, is obvious, it's a coffee table, ideal for holding drinks, books and other coffee-table like items. The second, is not so obvious, it's also a wooden xylophone.

So, as you're sitting around your lovely coffee table, you can also be playing music. The table can produce 13 notes, all in the key of C and lest you think no one knows how to play a xylophone, the table also comes with mallets and a song book. The table is available in a variety of finishes including: natural, honey, cherry and walnut.

The company behind this coffee table is Musical Furnishings, which was founded by the artist, Tor Clausen. Clausen's musical mother was a great influence in her son's life, allowing him to form a great fusion between artistry and music. The idea is that people will incorporate music into their everyday lives, and have some functional pieces of furniture at the same time.
