MSi GX630

The MSi GX630 is a mid-range gaming laptop with a 15.4" screen and 320GB hard drive. Its AMD Athlon 2.0GHz dual-core processor, 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT GPU, and 4 GB of RAM should enable strong performance with most games released in 2009.

The GX630 also supports DirectX 10 and advanced multi-threading for more efficient processing. For music and movies, it supports 5.1-channel headphone output and 7.1-channel output via HDMI. A unique feature of the GX630 is 'Turbo Drive', a button above the keyboard which temporarily improves performance by overclocking the CPU. At under 6 lbs, the GX630 is fairly portable for a gaming laptop, and includes built-in Bluetooth. Other features include a memory card reader and 2.0MP webcam.
