Microsoft Arc Keyboard

$60.00 Released February, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Compatible with OSX. Compact and lightweight - great for use on-the-go. Two colour battery indicator.

The Cons:Not bluetooth / no bluetooth version. Broadcasts over the crowded 2.4GHz wireless radio frequency range. Not that great for a desktop computer - designed for mobile use with smaller size and weight, compact layout.

The Microsoft Arc Keyboard is a stylish & compact wireless keyboard announced at CES2010 to complement Microsoft’s Arc Mouse. It utilizes an ultra-thin dome design wherein it rises along the top center, allowing a user’s hands to achieve a more natural and ergonomic position when typing.

Where to Buy

As for connectivity, the Arc relies on a USB transceiver (included) and 2.4GHz wireless technology; the nano transceiver can be conveniently tucked underneath the keyboard. Unfortunately, the Arc is limited to six F keys, offers no controls for iTunes playback, and will probably have to be remapped by Mac users.
