Merit 715T

The Merit 715T is one of three entry-level treadmills from Merit. As the base unit, the 715T hosts a 2.25 HP Treadmill Duty motor that supports speeds up to 10mph and a manual elevation as high as 5%. Designed to be spacious, the treadmill hosts a large 16” x 45” running area featuring an AEROsoft cushion system below the belt designed to isolate the user’s lower body from unwanted shocks.

This means that even heavy walkers up to 250 pounds can jog or run safely across the belt. In general critics appreciate the powerful engine and the fact that the Merit 715T can be folded for storage. However, they don’t like the manual incline adjustments, or the lack of programs (only 4 included).
