The Marcy PL 43211 is an entry-level, budget-friendly upright exercise bike hailed by many users for being a good value for the price. Geared mainly for casual exercise, the bike features magnetic resistance technology for a smooth ride, 8 levels of resistance, and an easy-to-read display for tracking speed, distance, time, and calories.

Also included are deluxe foot pedals with a weighted counter balance and adjustable footstraps, as well as seat height and handlebar adjustment options to accommodate different body types. Though functional, the Marcy PL 43211 suffers from a poor albeit durable build quality, not to mention a limited parts-only warranty. Plus there are no advanced features (such as programmable options) such as those found on the Schwinn 230.
