MacGregor VIP Forged Irons
$800.00
Released January, 2010
The Pros:Added forgiveness when compared to previous generation irons. Clean, classic design. Very workable irons that still offer some forgiveness.
The Cons:Shouldn't use these irons if you can't break 80. Irons lack the classic MacGregor look- topline looks a little thick. Price is a little steep.
The VIP Forged Irons are a set golf clubs from MacGregor’s 2010 lineup. The VIPs are made of soft 1020 carbon steel, and are put through a 5-step 800-ton forging process. The muscle cavity component is precision-milled with a similar process, resulting in a classic head design.
