Livestream Teradek CUBE-230

The Livestream Teradek CUBE-230 is a 1-channel HDMI encoder / camcorder top accessory kit that doesn’t have WIFI like the CUBE-220. Instead it allows users to employ either the Verizon 4G LTE network or an Ethernet connection to stream video the Internet more easily versus the conventional method of relying on a huge broadcasting truck.

One thing the CUBE-230 does offer is Power over Ethernet (PoE), meaning it doesn’t require connectivity to a DC outlet, as it can derive power directly from the Ethernet connection. Like its peer, the CUBE-230 integrates with Livestream. Also like its peer, the CUBE-230 offers video upscaling, so lower quality films (such as those from a low grade camcorder) can be raised in quality, though to a limit.
