The LG INFINIA 50PK950 a 50” plasma HDTV released as a direct upgrade from the 50PK750. It maintains its predecessor’s 1080p resolution, but hosts a much-improved 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio with a TruBlack Filter that blocks glare to improve picture quality.

Also included is a digital audio output. The most notable improvement is the incorporation of DLNA compatibility, which means after connecting to the Internet via either integrated LAN or optional WiFi, a user can transfer & playback files from any network-attached computer or server. Like its predecessor, the LG INFINIA 50PK950 also includes NetCast Entertainment Internet content compatibility, plus a bevy of inputs/outputs, including HDMI, Component, and AV ports, as well as a USB interface that accepts both audio and visual content.
