The Cons:Battery is difficult to replace, far from easy to swap. Huge, thick and way too long, too large to be considered a smartphone - not pocketable. Will not be produced - canceled project.

The LG GW990 is an Internet media tablet/smartphone is a unique device that features a much wider screen than smartphones. With a 4-inch panoramic widescreen display, the device has a 1024x480 resolution, a 5 megapixel camera, and can record HD video.

Unlike other competitor's models, it uses an Intel Moorestown processor and MeeGo operating system (merged version of Moblin & Maemo) similar to Android that has familiar features like Mobile Garage, which includes downloadable applications. The Internet media tablet also includes 3D gaming, a digital compass, GPS, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
