The W701 has features that one might expect from a high-end notebook: lots of connectivity (see Features list), up to Intel Core i7-920 2.66 GHz processor, Windows 7, 2.1-megapixel webcam. In terms of features, the ThinkPad W701 has less power and storage than the W701ds.
