The Lenovo IdeaPad Y570 is an upper mid-cost laptop, part of the gaming-oriented Y series. This laptop is equipped with Lenovo's Enhanced Experience 2.0 for Windows 7, which features RapidBoot, a feature that allows you to start your computer an average of twenty seconds faster than typical Windows 7 PCs.

With the addition of Lenovo's optional RapidDrive SSD technology, you are able to boot up in less than ten seconds. On the IdeaPad Y570, you can go up to NVIDA GT555m 1GB switchable graphics. The processor of this laptop can go up to a second generation Intel Core i7, with Turbo Boost Technology 2.0. The IdeaPad 570's OneKey Theatre II feature automatically maximizes advanced audio-visual settings at the touch of a button. The SRS Premium sound of this laptop comes out of JBL-designed speakers. Though the Y series base models all go for the same price, the Y570 differs from the Y470 in that the Y470 has a smaller display (14 inches as opposed to the Y570's 15.6 inches at 1366 x 768 resolution). The Y570 differs from the Y570d in that the Y570d is equipped with Nividia 3D vision capabilities (with 3D glasses included). The Lenovo IdeaPad Y570 laptop comes with a 6-in-1 card reader.
