The Cons:Ships with plenty of bloatware that needs to be removed. Generates a lot of heat during normal operation. Battery life isn't very long, often won't get more than an hour.

The IdeaPad Y560d is a 15.6", 3D notebook computer announced and released by Lenovo in the summer of 2010. The Y560d applies technology from TriDef which converts 2D content to 3D, requiring a special screen coating, 3D glasses, and software to function.

The notebook is also available without the 3D feature. The base model is equipped with an Intel Core i3 processor, integrated graphics, and 250 GB of storage capacity, while more expensive configurations offer Core i7 CPUs, discrete graphics up to ATI Radeon HD5730, and 750 GB of hard-drive space. Other options include an HDD-SSD combo for faster boot times, a Blu-ray drive, and Dolby Home Theater surround sound. Bluetooth and 802.11n wireless connectivity are available built-in.
