The LaCie LaCinema Mini HD Connect is a multimedia set top box for use with HDTVs. This product competes with the Apple TV, WD TV Live, Roku box and other similar players. The Mini HD Connect features Full HD 1080p support over HDMI, USB connectivity and support for networked uPnP/DLNA media servers.

A wide range of video formats are compatible with the Mini HD Connect, including MKV, Divx/Xvid, h.264, VC1 and AVCHD. Dolby Digital (AC3) and DTS surround sound are also fully supported by this device. Optionally, users can opt for the premium version which includes 500GB of local storage and built-in 802.11b/g/n WiFi. A remote control and a copy of TwonkyMedia Server software are included in the box.
