Kilkenny Irish Cream Ale
Released January, 1710
The Pros:Affordable here in Canada - $10.25 (up from $9 a few months ago) for 4 tall 440ml cans. Cans contain a bobble that adds nitrogen to poured beer - much like if it were served on tap. Delicious.
Kilkenny is an Irish cream ale that originates from the city of the same name. Similar in appearance to Guinness - featuring its same thick and creamy head which is produced by mixing in nitrogen with a bobble/widget (in a can) or tap (when served from a Keg) - the flavour is much less pronounced, giving Kilkenny a superior drinkability.
Similarly, the texture remains that of a heavier ale - quite unlike most easy drinking beer found today.
Ingredients: water, malted barley, roasted malted barley, hops, and yeast
Available in a 440 ml can 4 pack at most LCBOs. Brewed in Ireland

#kilkenny_irish_cream_ale I can't find this beer anywhere in Middle GA...This was my drink of choice overseas. Does anyone know how to get this? Ive called all the local stores and pubs, most pubs act like I am crazy and say they have never heard of it.
