Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X494
$140.00
Released January, 2010
The Pros:Separate built-in preouts for the front, rear and sub at 4 volts allows for high-end expansion options. CD player handles bumps in the road gracefully and works well with very scratched discs. All levels and item scrolling handled through the knob, which can scroll as fast or as slow as you want to move it.
The Cons:Owner's manual seems very complex and hard to understand. Takes some time to work out how to get to the various options.
