The Kenwood DNX5180 is an in-car multimedia DVD receiver with navigation device. This device has a Garmin GPS system built-in while providing entertainment through its DVD player, AM/FM tuner, or your own audio devices such as iPod or MP3 players.

This DNX5180 unit comes with preloaded NAVTEQ maps of the United States and Canada and NAVTEQ Traffic for some metropolitan areas (lifetime subscription included). The 6.1" WVGA touchscreen controls different viewing options, including split-screen A/V control, and includes 3 user-selectable GUI (graphical user interfaces).  Use the USB port to connect an iPod, iPhone or other media device, and coupled with the Slide Touch function navigating through stored media is straight-forward. This GPS/Multimedia device also comes with Pandora connectivity which allows you to create radio stations based upon favourite genres of music. This Kenwood DNX5180 is in the lower end of the DNX range, with the 6180 featuring built-in Bluetooth functions and more advanced models including Bluetooth and rear view camera touch control.
