The K2 Photon is a men's ski designed for recreational use for the advanced skiier. It features all-terrain rocker technology, triaxial braiding, and torsion box technology.

The Photon features the all-terrain rocker, which has an elevated tip for both variable and soft snow performance, as well as a camber underfoot for power, and holding the edges in firmer snow conditions.

The Triaxial braiding braids fibreglass around a wood core for torsional rigidity, adding a certian level of control. Torsion box technology allows for there to be differences between K2 models while also maintaining forgiveness, responsiveness, and energy.
This model differs from the K2 Force, which is for beginner skiiers and features a catch-free rocker.
