It is a step up from the entry-level KW-XR610 because it includes a USB Bluetooth adapter, enabling features like hands-free calling and phone book transfer when connected to a Bluetooth-capable mobile phone. The KW-XR810 provides the same maximum power output as JVC's other receivers – 50W, or 20W RMS per channel – and a subwoofer output is standard. Other upgrades over the entry-level model include a dedicated subwoofer pre-output terminal, WAV audio support, and a second USB port for an iPod or iPhone, when Bluetooth is not in use. Like the KW-XR610, the receiver also supports HD and satellite radio.
